Every Nurture scent starts the same way, with a problem we’re trying to solve, not just a smell we liked.
Citrus Rose came from wanting something that felt bright but not sharp. Pure citrus on its own can feel a bit one-note, energising in the morning, sure, but it doesn’t always carry through the day. We wanted a scent that could open bright and settle into something softer, something you’d still notice hours later without it being overpowering.
Rose was the answer. It’s soft without being old-fashioned, floral without tipping into “your gran’s perfume” territory. Paired with citrus, it does something interesting, the citrus keeps it fresh, and the rose keeps it grounded. Neither one dominates.
We tested a lot of combinations before landing here. Some were too sweet, some too sharp, one batch honestly just smelled like cleaning product, that one didn’t make it past the first round. What we kept coming back to was balance, a scent that felt like it belonged in a body creme, not a candle.
It’s also why Citrus Rose ended up in our creme rather than a lighter lotion. The richer formula holds the scent longer, so you get that same bright-then-soft experience from morning through the day, not just for the first five minutes after applying.
That’s really the whole approach behind every Nurture scent. Not just “does it smell nice,” but “does it earn its place in your routine.” Citrus Rose earned it.

That was amazing
